Art and Mindfulness

Various dates throughout the year. Continuing this series from last year, we will be using the gallery to practice a range of relaxation-based activities.

An art gallery is a quiet space where people go, not only to enjoy imagery, but also to spend time considering new ideas and contemplating the abstract, emotional or historical contexts of the work on show.  Join us for short practices in contemplation using simple breathing techniques to focus the attention. This is not a discussion group but is aimed at spending quiet time together as a group for the enjoyment of the surrounding artworks and the clarity that mindfulness can bring.
